Plants

Furls of dewy leaves at dawn
Light of stars rebound
By the gaping pitcher's yawn
As god of love rewound

Reaching past the silt and rocks
To find the spirits' ley
A well of life on which it knocks
To which entrance gave

Velvet of a wintry petal
A beacon in the night
Bells of blue adorn the lasses
Over nectar gifts they fight

A vine affectionately curls
As ivy creeps away
A glowing rune, a flash of light
For a moment it is day
