East

A swirl of stars across the sky
The side off Milky Way
The moon a fox on the sly
Jade Rabbit's holiday

A slither and slide on weathered rocks
The lovely Lady White
Gaze of emerald steadily mocks
Mortals living on spite

A flash of flowing silk that drifts
The scarf of gentle wind
Up the overhanging cliffs
Past fabric stretched like skin

A glimmer of hope that rises up
The change that greets the moon
Its cake with tea served in a cup
On cloth of winged's cocoon
